
This week has been a good one training-wise. I’ve managed about 8 hours so far (Mon-Fri) and so far there are no ill-effects. I went out for a hilly 3 hour ride on Thursday (the longest ride since my op was 90 mins) and apart from feeling the lack of fitness from 4 weeks off the bike, I felt quite good. I think my run fitness will come back fairly easily, I just need to get back into the pool more often (frequency over duration initially I think) and get some big rides done and all should be well.
