It's 2 days to go until the Cardiff half marathon, my last race of the season. I did this race last year in a time of 1hr31, this year I hope to get a PB and dip under 1hr30.
I think if the weather is good (not too windy) and I get in with a good group of runners, sub 1hr30 is achievable - just! If after 11 or 12 miles I'm close to 1hr30 pace I know I will bury myself to dip under that illusive time. Watch this space!

Is drafting allowed?
Best of luck buddy.
(Sorry for messing up your blog - finger trouble!)
Drafting? Of course. I plan to sit on someones shoulder for 11 miles, then put the burners on, thank him for his help and disappear into the distnace! ;-)
All about pacing dude, but then you know that already. However, I would turn the after burners on at 9 miles cause you can always drag yourself through the last mile no matter what condition you are in 8-)
Thanks Sags, I might just take you up on that advice.
