Anyway, just for those thinking of doing the course, the level 1 course places a great emphasis on a coaches’ competence rather than knowledge (what coaches can do rather than what coaches know). So you are taught "how to coach” rather than “what to coach”. This can be seen as a drawback, but I suppose you've got to start somewhere and I guess you learn more of the "what to coach" on the level 2 course. Would I recommend the course to others? Probably. Will I go on to do the level 2 course? Again probably. However, in my eyes to progress as a coach properly you need to work alongside a more experienced coach, so this should be the next port of call really.

Well done "Coach" Frank.
How's the training going? And yes, your comments on TriTalk have been noted down and will be used in evidence against you at some point in 2009!
Training is going well thanks. 6 months until IM Austria, so time to knuckle down and get the miles in now. Will be doing a few of the smaller races through the seson, so might see you at some of them, but Austria is the focus, everything else is just prep for that.
Don't know what you mean ref TriTalk, must have been Jorgan putting words into my mouth!
Have fun in the remaining couple of weeks in the 'Deid, stay away from the cookies & ice cream (too late!) and catch you on your return.
