Hard few days training

Yes, I managed a good few days training at the end of last week, 3 hours on the bike on Thursday, an easy swim on Friday, Saturday was a run of 75 minutes and Sunday was another long-ish bike followed by a transition run (3:30 bike/20 min run). This was a lot of biking for me in the space of a few days, so today was a swim session which wasn't too taxing on the body.

The body seems to be holding out ok, I'm a little tired but it all looks like it's going in the right direction. I have an easier day tomorrow, then a harder day on Wednesday (2 sessions) and a hard bike day on Thursday (3 hours if weather permits including hill reps). It's about 8 weeks until IM Austria, I guess I should dig out my TT bike and get some miles in on that! Train smart all!

Stick with it mate, you will be fine. You can always come with us to Barcelona in October if you feel you underperformed in Austria.

Underperform? No chance! I'm going to smash that course up! (tongue firmly in cheek).

Can't afford Barcelona mate, and I'd be the weak link, no chance of a sub 60 swim for me I'm afraid.
