Awesome, awesome race again from Alistair Brownlee! Due to his previous results in the Dextro Energy series he only had to come in the top 5 today to win the world champs.He came out of the swim in the front pack, finished the bike in the front of the main group and then had a great battle with Gomez (number 2 in the rankings) on the run. They ran shoulder to shoulder for about 9km, until Alistair thought enough was enough, put the hammer down and left Gomez in his wake!
Amazing athlete! 5 wins out of 5 in the Dextro Energy series! If he can stay fit and healthy he's got to be a favourite for 2010. Well done fella!
