A few of us from work went mountain biking today, this time we went to the Afan Forest Park (nr Port Talbot). We rode the Penhydd trail (a red trail = difficult!), which is about 17km of very varied trail which combines forest road climbs with tight, technical, switchback trails through mixed woodland. Big climbs followed by technical descents meant that this trail was pretty tough on the old legs, but at least this time I managed not to fall off!
A great day was had by all, and the best bit was because we had hired bikes this time, we could just return them caked in mud! Train smart bloggers!
