OK, coach Neill suggested I get back in the pool as I haven't been in the pool for months (since the Vitruvian in fact) and with my achilles niggle it made perfect sense. I swam yesterday and today, and it was not a pretty sight, it was as if someone had replaced the water with treacle! I think a bit more time in the pool is required between now and Christmas. I'm going to try the little and often format, until I get a feel for the water again. What do you think? Train smart all!

Swimming again........
