I've been partaking in some track cycling training over the past few weeks, just something a little different over the winter, adding in a touch of intensity rather than going down the more traditional route of LSD.
If I'm totally honest, the first few weeks were a bit slow, just going through the motions really with the other newbie's to track cycling, but Mondays session was totally different. I was allowed to progress to the faster group and we did lots of speed work (team TT's, through & off's, etc), so it was much more fun and much safer (some the novices bike handling skills leave a lot to be desired!).
And it showed yesterday with very tired legs! Therefore the Trigger Point Therapy Grid (see previous post) has been having a good hammering lately, rolling out my aching legs, all in the name of recovery! Train smart all!
