I just got home from watching the Cardiff Blues play the Ospreys in the Magners League. It was a great game, with the Blues having to survive an Ospreys second-half fightback to clinch the win in a thrilling derby clash at the Cardiff City Stadium.It looked too easy for the Blues who raced into a 24-3 lead thanks to the boot of Dan Parks and tries from Tom James and Richard Mustoe.
The Ospreys looked tired, however two tries in as many minutes from Paul James and Tommy Bowe brought them back into it. Andrew Bishop then ran over in the closing stages, but it was too late. The Blues ran out winners by 27 points to 25. Great game, cold, but a great game nonetheless! Now time to celebrate the New Year!
